12.6.23

Today in class we talk a test on the "Yellow Wallpaper", I read over the question, then read the passage. As I was reading the answers for each question, I found that it was diffcult to answer. It reminded me of the questions given on a SAT, talking one this past weekend. When Mr.Rease went over the question from 1-5, until the bell rang. I don't remember what I put down for questions 4 and 5 but I know I got 1 and 2 right. Hopefully we go over the other half of the questions Friday.

12.5.23

Today in class we had to come up with 6 questions of confusion in the story and answer them. One of the questions I wrote was who was the lady on the wallpaper, now having read the story several times it clicked to me that it was her own shadow that maybe she was watching. More with the writing she was putting reinforcing her ideas in her mind. Then herself feeling trapped not being free, so she ripped the wallpaper so she could set herself "free". Hopefully tomorrow we have something intersting to do.

12.4.23

Today in class we had to go over some themes about the Yellow Wallpaper, Misunderstanding and Mental Health and where could find these topics in the book and explain. Even though this story is quite small its very intersting in my opinon. Intersting to see the old way of english? Aswell as the aspect of a women literally losing her mind over a yellow wallpaper. There isn't much detail but just the she recently gave birth so could her depression all be because of child birth? Throught out the whole book she dosen't talk about her child. Only that Jennie takes care of the child and tends to what she would've if shes prefectly fine.

12.1.23

Today in class we answered some questions about the yellow wallpaper. It seems interesting at first but maybe it's me but I feel like it has a bad ending. Maybe aswell when the story was made but I find it so off to find that the lady's husband, John, doesn't seem to care or really think that his wife isn't feeling well. Even she says in her writing how she try's to bring up her problem and it seems like he just brushes it off. Now I can just search up the book online over the weekend and finish the rest of the questions.
